Executive Presence: Making a Good Impression Count
On a beautiful fall evening, WIN welcomed Karen Kaufman for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on executive presence and the importance of making every impression count.
Using her proprietary Kaufman Impression Management System, Karen guided attendees through a self-assessment of 24 leadership factors, encouraging each participant to reflect on how their perceptions, behaviors, and emotional intelligence influence the way they are viewed by others. Her key message was clear: success is not determined by expertise alone. The impressions we create through our actions, communication style, and self-awareness play a defining role in career growth and leadership effectiveness.
As a special takeaway, all attendees received a copy of Karen’s book, Magic: Making a Good Impression Count, providing valuable insights and practical tools to continue their development journey.
A special thank you to Hartford Funds for sponsoring this event and supporting opportunities that help foster leadership development, professional growth, and meaningful connections across our WIN community. We are grateful for their continued partnership and commitment to investing in our people.
